ZOA Studio is an international architectural visualization studio offering a complete suite of services, exterior and interior renderings, signature animations, the Impression Package, cinemagraphs, stereoscopic VR, 3D modeling, and product visualization, to architects, real estate developers, and design studios worldwide.
Headquartered in Budapest with a second office in Valencia, ZOA has spent two decades helping leading practices like Gensler, Snøhetta, UNS, Zaha Hadid Architects, Shigeru Ban, MVRDV, MAD Architects, B+H, Populous, and Emaar present their architectural visions to the world.
This page is the single overview of every visualization service ZOA offers, what each does, when it is the right choice, and how they combine in real projects.
Key Takeaways
ZOA Studio offers nine main visualization services that together cover the full architectural and product presentation lifecycle, from competition pitches to public launches.
We are the 2025 Architizer Vision Awards Jury Winner in “Rendering Artist of the Year” and Finalist in “Architectural Videographer of the Year,” and previous CAD’oro Grand Prix winner for architectural animation.
All services use the same in-house team of around 30 artists, project managers, and architects across Budapest, Hungary and Valencia, Spain.
We accept models in Rhino, Revit, Archicad, AutoCAD, and SketchUp** and handle export, modeling supplementation, and visualization end-to-end.
ZOA’s nine main visualization services
Exterior Renderings
Photorealistic still images of buildings and masterplans in context, façade, surroundings, light, weather, and people. Used in competitions, pitches, brochures, websites, and investor decks. Two sketch options per image at the start; final delivery in about one week per image.
Interior Renderings
Photorealistic still images of interiors, apartments, hotel rooms, offices, sports venues, hospitality, retail. Project managers double as trained interior designers; mood boards built for projects without existing FF&E specifications.
Stereoscopic VR
True-depth 360° virtual reality experiences that let buyers, juries, and tenants step inside the project before it is built. Compatible with Meta Quest, Apple Vision Pro, and browser-based WebXR viewers. Reuses the same 3D model as renderings and animations, so VR is dramatically cheaper when bundled.
Impression Package
15 high-resolution renders in 5 days from a single detailed brief, with no traditional feedback rounds. Originally co-developed with Studio Precht. Best for design reviews, pitches, and pre-launch content. Significantly cheaper per image than a traditional multi-round workflow.
Cinemagraphs
Still renderings with seamless looping motion in isolated elements, water, curtains, people, clouds. Most engagement of a video at a fraction of the cost. Optimal length 6–8 seconds. Ideal for website heroes, social media, and competition keynotes.
Standard Animation
Cost-effective architectural film with beauty shots, aerial views, intro/outro, and a streamlined workflow. Typically 30–90 seconds, produced in 4–6 weeks. Optional upgrades: drone tracking, narration, stock footage, motion graphics.
Signature Animation
ZOA Studio’s flagship concept-driven architectural film service. Built around an original story, mood, or narrative idea, supported by VFX, 2D motion graphics, custom music, and optional narration. Typically 60–180 seconds, produced in 6–10 weeks. CAD’oro Grand Prix-winning format.
Architectural Modeling
The foundation that powers every other service. Building 3D models from your design intent, accepting partial, evolving, or rough massing inputs, including in-house parametric tools for masterplan-scale building stock generation. Usually bundled into a visualization commission.
Product Visualization
Photorealistic 3D rendering and animation of products, furniture, lighting, fixtures, packaging, consumer goods, for e-commerce, advertising, and product launch campaigns. On average six times more cost-effective than photography for products with variants.
How ZOA’s services combine in real projects
Most ZOA Studio projects use more than one service.
Architectural competition
Exterior and interior renderings, an Impression Package for the broader spread, a Signature Animation for the jury film, and Stereoscopic VR if the jury visits in person.
Real estate pre-sales launch
Exterior and interior renderings for the brochure and website, cinemagraphs for social and email, a Standard Animation for the launch film, and VR for sales-suite experiences.
Major masterplan
Architectural modeling (with parametric façade generation), exterior aerials, Signature Animation as the centrepiece, and cinemagraphs for ongoing social storytelling.
Branded residence with designer furniture line
Architectural exterior and interior and Signature Animation, plus product visualization of the furniture, lighting, and bathroom fixtures that are part of the branded offer.
Reusing the same 3D model across formats is one of the most cost-effective ways to commission visualization. Once the model and assets exist, adding new outputs, a cinemagraph, a VR scene, an animation cutdown, a new variant for product visualization, is dramatically faster and cheaper than commissioning each format from scratch.

What sets ZOA apart from generic 3D rendering services
Architects, not just CG operators
Our project managers and lead artists include qualified architects who interpret intent and resolve unfinished design, they don’t just push files.
Storytelling-first animation
ZOA Studio has been a narrative-driven animation studio since the early days of the medium. Our films are built around ideas, not flythroughs, which is why they win awards and generate measurable lead uplift.
Honesty about AI
We use AI selectively for monotonous tasks (vegetation, stock element generation, certain rendering steps) but never as a replacement for craft. AI cannot rescue a thoughtless image, and applied carelessly it actively erodes credibility with juries and investors.
Transparent, modular pricing
Every engagement is quoted with a clear breakdown, so you know exactly what you’re paying for and can flex the scope as the project evolves.
A culture built around the work, not the visa fights
ZOA invests heavily in HR, employee wellbeing, and creative environment. Our people stay long enough to learn projects deeply and bring continuity to long-term client relationships.
