What is /imagine?
Ready to showcase your animation skills? The /imagine game is a fun and creative challenge for CG artists. You will receive three random elements and icons to use in creating a short-form animation of 5-10 seconds in a 9:16 format/ratio. The animation should include just one camera movement and should feature sound effects or music.
How to apply?
Register by sending an email to [email protected] with your basic information (including full name, email address, location, and social media tags for FB, LI, IG, YT). You will receive a reply email with all the necessary information, tools, and a unique task containing three random elements just for you.
Get creative
Use the three elements to create your short-form animation. For example, you might get “bathtub, desert, sun” and need to animate a story involving these items.
Submit your entry
Once your animation is ready, upload it to Google Drive, WeTransfer, or submit the link by emailing it to [email protected] along with your name.
Please make sure to submit your entry by the deadline: Jun 25, 12 PM CET
Each applicant can apply with only one animation.
Special opportunity
Just one more thing. We teamed up with HEATA, which offers a free service to render your animation for the contest while using the waste heat from computers to provide free hot water to people in need.
